Great location in the Gulf of Aqaba!

due to current events (israel/palestine war), i actually canceled my stay at this property because this was booked a week weeks prior to the war. upon landing in aqaba, jordan, i actually heard word that the israel/jordan border crossing had since closed. during the traveling process though, i did message the hotel from the website, and they were always very nice and responsive. i notified them that i would not be staying at the hotel for the 1 night booked, but since the room was non-refundable, please allow anyone fleeing from the violence who needs room and board, to use my room for the night. they were very kind, and i hope some displaced residents were able to have at least one night of peaceful sleep.

the timing could not have been better, heh..................

Thank you very much for spending a great time at the Brown Hotel, and special thanks to the receptionist Maayan...it was a very comfortable, clean and quiet hotel...and the kind treatment of the staff, especially Maayan, she took great care of us and made us feel as if we were in our second home. However, its prices are very cheap compared to these high features. I strongly recommend this hotel.

I would definitely choose this hotel if I came to Eilat again .

Comfortable , friendly hotel . Very central . The breakfast was very good , fresh and tasty with a nice selection . The bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of hot water .

The shower was only 2/3 covered and no matter how much I tried ,water filled the bathroom .

Great hotel in generell

It was my second visit after a year. The location is great, the rooms and hotel it self is super clean and the interior design is amazing. The beds are very comfy. Dogs are allowed which is a HUGE plus.

Unfortunately the stuff on the reception was neither that nice nor professional like last time. We arrived and we barely got a hello. The second lady on the reception, was eating sun seeds in front of us while teaching her co-worker some Russian. I really don’t like those behavior during customer service. I hope The professionalism will come back, because I relay liked the hotel.

The room was clean and cozy, excellent breakfast for any taste, the pool was closed at this time of the year but we had a jacuzzi at the room

We took bikes and they were a bit rusty but still worked well.

Predictably good

In my case breakfast was not included in stay and costed 50 NIS, but its worth it. You wont find such a breakfast in town for such a low price. The room is clean but pretty small (it is a standard problem for Brown hotels group). I liked their shower accessories. Sheets are white and clean, also towels. Staff is friendly. Brown always provide predictably high quality for an adequate price.

The cleaning staff forgot to put a complimentary water in my room, but its not a big deal.

Exceptional

Quick check in, great vibe and interior design. Room was adequate in size, coffee machine w/ too capsules (only). A desk, great shower, fridge Location is great, walking distance to the boardwalk by the sea with all the shops and restaurants.

Pool opened up only at 11am on Saturday. Bed was 2 twins combined.

Fair. Especially value price.

Room was fair, a bit old but worth the price. Breakfast was great! a good variety of items. Staff was amazing, especially at the reception. Both Monica and Angel were very pleasant and accommodating. The Omelette guy at breakfast was also a great asset to the hotel. Thanks!

No air conditioning!

Vista suddenly closed for renovations and moved us to a different hotel in their chain, Palms hotel. Their willingness to offer us alternative accomodations at a nominally better room is commendable. The beds were comfortable and clean.

This review is for the Palms hotel, which we were moved to. Since this hotel is owned by the same owners as Vista, I have no reason to expect Vista is any better about this stuff. The actual hotel we were moved to wasn't very good. Most importantly, it didn't have air conditioning despite what's advertised! They claim it's due to the seasonal weather, but it's very hot outside and inside the room. There's barely any parking, even though the hotel is almost empty. We were ultimately upgraded to the higher class suites, which was slightly better in terms of temperature but still very hot. The suite had a jacuzzi that didn't work and was located outside of the room. It took literal hours to fill. Massive disappointment. The bathroom was very cramped, I couldn't even sit comfortably on the toilet or get in and out of the shower without a struggle. We liked our original room better. Everything would honestly be fine if they had air conditioning. I recommend everyone ask the hotel directly if their room has air conditioning and that it is active and can cool the room. It's one thing to not have a pool in the winter when it's windy and a bit cold sometimes, but the rooms still get unbearably hot.

All and all, a very good experience, and great value for the money.

I have been to this hotel 3 times, twice in the last month for a one night get away. The Hotel, is not new, but is is well maintained. Nice lobby, gated parking clean and located near the Eilat promenade and northern beach. The room - is OK... no luxury, but truly OK. The basic room is a bit small, but again, it is comfortable. Most important, it is well kept. Bath room was clean with plenty of towels, nicely presented and not worn, plenty of toiletries. Bed was clean with nice freshly sheets and pillows, furniture was fine, not new, but functional. No smells or stains. In summary, a true value for the money, without compromising cleanliness and basic amenities. Superb service by Monica at the front desk, she really cares and take pride in her job and in the property.

Room could use some minor paint touch ups, same goes for some other common areas. Same goes for shower, could use some grout updates, nothing extreme, just freshen it up a bit. Eilat could get cold at night in the winter, the central heater was not turned on, something that I should have been told upon check in. When I "complained", I was immediately offered a local portable heater that wormed up the room instantly.
